Quirky buys from the fair

After sharing with you in my last post all the little quirky stalls we saw at the Renegade Craft Fair last weekend, I thought it would be nice to show off what we walked out with.

Hello Dodo was selling some lovely prints, we took home Ship in a bottle to join our ever growing collection. The flat is really small so we are still debating where to put it up.

Mollie Makes was promoting its sister brand new magazine The Simple Things. I walked out with an subscription and issue 1 under my arm! I have had the chance to read most of it and it hasn’t disappointed. A lot let knitting orientated than Mollie Makes, The Simple Things finds a good balance between craft, lifestyle, food and gardening features. Interesting, easy to read and beautiful photography, what else could you want! I can’t wait for issue 2.

Lastly, the talented illustrator Alice Tams had a little stall with products featuring her awesome Birds in Hats. A personal favorite of mine is the penguin in a fez but this time we bought this tiny pocket mirror as a present for a friend. Isn’t it the cutest thing ever? Don’t forget to check out her Etsy shop.

Lastly, a recurring theme at the RCF – and pretty much everywhere else – are the forever cool facets. I love pastel colored facets, I think an absolute wining combination! I bough these super cute earrings from Oh Hello Friend everything in their stall was so nice and I wish I had bough more of their stuff.

Other facets themed items at the Renegade Craft Fair that I wanted to take home with me and watch the sun rise while hugging them.

1. Mr Nico jewelery   2. Made by me me me brooches and earrings   3. Lovely pigeon brooches and earrings

Also, these are other some facet inspired bits and bobs must-haves that I have seen and I think you should know about : ) I think the Eley plant pot is the cutest thing since teacup pigs.

Get yourself one of this facets stamps from Extase to add to cards, your diary, a sketchbook…do you really need a reason to get any of these beauties?
